  • We picked Avis just because it was the cheapest. I'm not a member of their special club or anything. This location's service was great. They took at face value what I booked online: didn't try to sell me a GPS rental or a pricier car. or a full tank of gas. or insurance we already had. Actually, we had already used an Entertainment Book coupon to upgrade a class higher than what we paid. The lady offered us something even higher. A convertible! ...though we had to turn it down because we needed a car for five. We did get a higher class car, though! Another bonus: I got to collect Aeroplan (Air Canada) miles.
