I refuse to call this spot the Rogers Centre. Shame on you Rogers for taking the stellar landmark name of SkyDome away. You couldn't have just slapped your logo on and kept the original name? Greedy bastards. In any case, this is the big feature in the Toronto sky like along with the CN Tower. It has a retractable roof, which means you can watch the Jays in the sunshine when it's warm and the Rolling Stones with it covered in the winter. Pretty cool right? Oh it was when they build it over a decade ago. I heard a rumor that it's super expensive to maintain because the roof cracks in the cold weather. The acoustics are shit for concerts at the Dome, and they are even tighter on booze and smoking than the ACC, but nothing beats watching the Jays on toonie Tuesdays haul their fat asses around those bases in the sunshine with a hot dog and a pint.
