| - So my son damaged my car on 12/20/2016 damaging the driver side door and front bumper. after filing the claim with my insurance i sent my vehicle to legends because of the commercials i heard on KUPD stating they were the "home of the waive your deductible", Turns out they do not waive your deductible, it is based on an 8% rebate of the total amount of the work. So after they received my vehicle it took 2-3 weeks to get the estimate done and for my insurance to pay them due to the Christmas and new year holidays. I didn't worry about that, So i called them and spoke to Carl, he tells me that they are going to order parts and once the get them in it will take approx 7 business days to complete the work, so i waited until Friday of the following week to call him back and he was unavailable so the receptionist Brenda said he would call me back, which he did not. i called him back on Monday and he told me he is still waiting on parts. So i went back and forth with Carl for about a month and each time i called it was the same issue, waiting on parts. he also told me that it was taking longer because their parts supplier was on the east coast and my bumper was rusted and the door was damaged which i thought odd since my bumper is fiberglass . so i called him last month only to be told they are going through financial restructuring aka bankruptcy. I verified this online, they filed chapter 11 with the phoenix courts on 11/3/2016.

So i have been out of pocket on my rental since January 11th at a cost of around $200.00 a week, Carl says he will take care of the deductible for me because of all the trouble and the money i am out for the rental, we will see. So over two months later, there my car sits with no work having been done and no idea of when or if it will be done. next step is to consult an attorney and see if i have any legal recourse here.
