I am so very grateful for the staff and process at Lap of Love. Yesterday we made the heartbreaking decision to put our 14 year old baby down after her fight with cancer. It was HARD. I knew she was suffering and didn't want to lose heart so I called them early in the Morning and spoke with EJ. She was beyond patient with me, explained everything, was empathetic and even told me after learning our story that I was doing the right thing (which I desperately needed to hear). We scheduled an appointment for the afternoon, giving us time to go through a few rituals with our beloved Bella after my kids arrived home from school. We prepared a yummy steak for our girl and made a peaceful picnic under a tree in our yard. When Dr. Toby arrived he was very supportive and informative without being invasive. He took time before hand to get to know us a bit and talk to my kids making the experience even better. He assisted our Bella on her journey and it was so quiet and peaceful. She was surrounded by love and family and Dr. Toby worked around us so all four of our family members could hold onto our baby as she left us. This experience was a sad one for our family but I definitely think we did the right thing. Lap of Love is worth every penny and EJ & Dr. Toby... Thank you so much for treating us with such kindness.
