DO NOT RENT FROM WAYPOINT HOMES!!
We moved in to our house in November. When we first moved in they told us the HOA office to contact for keys to the pool and also the security gate I took on the process of collecting our needed keys and gate codes to actually get into our community...... but to my surprise it wasn't even the correct HOA. Waypoint didn't have the correct HOA, they could not provide us the gate code for us to get into our house and left it all to me to solve the issue. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THIS? You can call the many numbers they give you but it will go straight to voicemail, and you will be lucky to receive a message back.
The final straw was this last week. Our water heater needed to be repaired so I called maintenance. I called Wednesday and talked with Rubin, he gave me a maintenance date of Monday.... literally 6 days without hot water.... I called back to ask for a earlier appointment. They did do that, but oh wait. I somehow missed it..... I was HOME ALL DAY. But their maintenance guy took pictures of him hanging a flyer on our door... the last lady I talked to implied that I was a liar.
On Friday I was told they would have another maintenance person come to our house and if they didn't come on Friday they would most definitely come on Saturday, yet that didn't happen and neither did a courtesy call to inform us. I called AGAIN on Saturday I waited on hold for 30 mins to speak with a lady that told me that there was no order received about Saturday service and that "they don't do Saturday maintenance". Once again "I'm the liar". She proceeded to place me on hold for another 30 mins and when she returned she could not hear me and hung up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called back, waited again on hold spoke with a man named Nick where I guided him through the last conversation. He was clueless. But at least they said someone would be out to fix our water heater. It is fixed but what a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
We will move out as soon as our lease is up. Sorry Waypoint you have lost a loyal and trustworthy tenant who pays 1327$ on time every month. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this rental company... hopefully the rest of our time in this house goes without need of further contact with the waypoint company.
