I ordered glasses last week, called two days ago to see if they might arrive before I leave town. I was told by DeeDee "we're short handed today so I haven't been able to look through today's shipment but on the computer it's saying they did ship so I'm sure they're here. Call us back". Called today and I was told by Susan "you just ordered these yesterday, so uh No. they're not ready". I explained that's incorrect and she looked again. The order was apparently not placed for an entire week, finally placed yesterday, and now the estimated arrival date is December 11th. A full three weeks since i paid and ordered them. Susan then went on to explain the entire personal situation of the original employee who took my order apparently as some sort of way to excuse them for messing up...? Not sure what the goal was but I'm sure that employee doesn't want his personal life used as an excuse for a delayed order. Awkward, unprofessional and really unnecessary. Susan told me I can call tomorrow and talk to yet another employee, Francesca, who is the manager. My first thought is if I made a mistake at work, I'd offer to have my manager call the customer...not the other way around. Why am I chasing down your manager? Shouldn't you as an employee want to fix the problem have your manager call when she comes
In tomorrow?
I will never use nationwide vision again. From eye exam at another location to ordering glasses, this has been the most frustrating experience. The employees couldn't act like they cared less if they tried. I'm sorry I ever came in, I'll stick to Costco for eyewear and exams.
