| - We are long term Las Vegas locals and have seen many fine dining establishments come and go. The Barrymore is one of the best new venues to come along in many years, possibly during our entire stay. The ambiance, service and unique menu combine to offer a one of a kind experience.
My family and I had Thanksgiving dinner at the Barrymore. Our meal started with grilled octopus, calamari and lobster mac and cheese. The grilled octopus is a sleeper, please try it. Our entrees consisted of lobster, veal porterhouse and the short ribs. All were impeccably prepared and presented. Our outstanding server, recommended a side not on the menu, roasted artichoke risotto. Good heavens, you have to ask for this side! Our meal concluded with a sampler of outstanding desserts.
The Barrymore more than lives up to the fine review it received from CNN. It combines old school Vegas exclusivity, charm and quality with a modern dining spin. If you go, ask for Israel. Israel, a Las Vegas veteran, can recommend fine wines from the outstanding list as well as items not on the menu that are sure to combine for a memorable experience.
