  • I am so sad I want to cry when I look at my wedding photos due to the awful makeup experience at this disingenuous place. I came in from out of state to get married, and my sister came from another state to attend the wedding, and I made makeup appointments for both of us. I booked airbrush makeup so I would look good in my wedding photos. When I got there they told me the woman who does that was out on maternity leave and I would not receive that service, just regular makeup. This is hours before my wedding with no time to book with someone else to do what I had booked with them. They tricked me into keeping my appointment by surprising me with this bad news with no time to seek other options. I rolled with it, 1. because I didn't have time for options and 2. because they had someone filling in who I thought would be good since she did makeup professionally. Wrong!!!!!! She did my sister's makeup first. My sister told her what she didn't want done with the eyeliner and that's exactly what this woman did! My sister wasn't happy. I brought photos of ideas for what I wanted. They were general ideas, and I was flexible enough to let the makeup artist put her own spin on it. I wanted elegant eyes. This lady didn't listen at all! My makeup looked very simple like what someone would wear to work -- light blush, foundation, barely visible eyeshadow and mascara. The eyeshadow was the whole reason I was paying someone to do my makeup to look special on my big day. She did it super plain and way too light to be seen in photos. Either she didn't know how to do it the way I had asked, or didn't care. In my wedding photos I look like I have on no eyeshadow or blush in any photo taken more than 4 feet away, which is most of them. The blush was way too lightly applied, so in any photos from more than a few feet away I look like a pale ghost with no color. Same with my eyeshadow. Looks like nothing is there in most photos. I hate my wedding pictures and would not wish this experience on any bride! At checkout they tried to charge me for the airbrush service I ordered but didn't receive -- for an extra $45 dollars! They only charged me the correct lesser price for regular makeup after I protested. No bride should ever experience this deception and disappointment on her big day. Be honest, upfront, listen to your customers, and if you can't provide the service they booked, give them ample warning! I have had better makeup done for cheaper at Ulta, Sephora and Mac. Go there or anywhere else instead!
