  • Here you are not treated like an adult. You are not treated with any dignity or respect. They cut my pain medication from 4 x 15 mg a day to 4 x 10 mg a day without even telling me they were going to do it. The doctor did not discuss it, or talk about a plan to reduce the medication, I did not find out until the medical assistant brought in the prescription, and then he refused to come back and talk to me about it. So I feel like a victim instead of an adult partner in my pain management.
