Sure wish I had of read these reviews before I let All Desert Appliances in to my house.
We contacted our warranty company on December 10 and they scheduled All Desert Appliance to come to my home on December 11. The gasket on my dishwasher had completely come off. The heating element did not seem to be working either. We were told that parts needed to be ordered.
The following week we received a call that and scheduled an appointment for them to come and complete the repairs. Then the next day we received another call saying that all the parts were not in and that they would need to cancel but it would be fixed before Christmas.
The week of December 22 I called to see what was happening. The women I spoke with said that the part was not in yet. I asked that she find out when it would arrive. She said she would try. When she called back an appointment was scheduled for December 23.
When the tech came to put in the parts he had forgotten one of them. Then he asked when we would like to re-schedule. My husband said that this was unacceptable - it need to be fixed before Christmas. He then told my husband that he would come back on DECEMBER 25th @ 8:30 am so that I would be able to use my dishwasher for the large family gathering I was having.
This seemed very strange but my husband said OK. At 10:30 on December 25th he had not shown up. He did finally call and say that he could still come over but it would be about 2 hours for him to fix it. Needless to say the answer was NO.
He came the following week and completed the repair.
Now if all of this is not bad enough - the first time I went to use the dishwasher I could not close the door. He had not lined it up correctly. To close the door I had to shove it over to the right side. Then it would close - the insallation on the side was also hanging out.
We called All Desert Appliances and they said we had to call our warranty people because the ticket was closed. So we did. An appointment was scheduled for Friday, December 9 from 9 - noon, at this time we gave them our gate code again.
On December 8 - All Desert Appliances called to schedule an appoinmnet. My husband said that one was already scheduled. The man on the telephone said "Oh."
On Friday, December 9 I took the day off of work and waited. I made a telephone call to my dr and my telephone beeped. I immediately got off the telephone, listened to the message and returned the call - they needed the gate code. I waited on the telephone for 3 - 5 minutes for them to answer. I told the "gentlemen" on the telephone who I was and what they wanted. He told me that he was sure it was too late and the tech had already left. I told him that I wanted him back and that they already had the gate code and that I had waited 3 - 5 minutes for him to answer. He said too bad. He won't be back today. I told him he had better get him back. I had taken the day off work. His response. "I'm a minium wage worker and I readlly don't care. It's not going to happen."
My husband called twice to speak with the owner - we are still waiting for a call from him.
We called the warrenty company back and they basically said the same thing 'Nothing we can do." You need to wait until Monday when they can reschedule you.
I told them that I did not want Al Desert Appliances back in my home. I wanted it fixed now. They found anouther company who is not available until Wednesday.
Between waiting for thme to arrive on Friday and then spending approximately 2.5 hours on the telephone trying to get this all fixed, I still did not have a a dishwasher.
My husband fixed it.
Not sure if the warranty compies are worth the money. Why would they hire a company that does not do their job?
But one thing I know.
All Desert will not enter my home again and I will do all that I can to make sure that no one I know uses them.
