  • If you're looking for the best macaroons, look no further. Essence has the best I've ever had. Their macaroons, among other things are incredibly fresh and you can tell that they are made daily and with local ingredients. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. There is a little wait time for food, but this is expected since it's all made to order. They also have THE best french dijon potato salad! I have tried to replicate it at home, and I can't come close. The Grilled Cheese with mozzarella, tomato and basil is so delicious; I wish I had more than one stomach so I could eat everything here!. I highly recommend this wonderful little gem. Around lunch time it does tend to get a bit busy, but you know that's the mark of a good restaurant.
