  • LOCATION - The Park MGM is located in front of T-Mobile Arena with the Lobby Entrance and Casino Entrance with direct access to "The Park" on the Las Vegas Strip. We spent a lot of time at The Park and had very easy access to our favorite Vegas spots so the location of the Park MGM is excellent. ROOMS - The rooms are very nice. The housekeeping was excellent. My biggest complaint is that even in their Nightingale suite, there is no fridge. I'm sure there was one available for a nightly charge. CASINO - Lots of new machines! One casino floor that was never really crowded even on the busiest weekend. FOOD - There are 2 restaurants in this entire place and one is a steakhouse only open from 5-10pm. If food options are important to you, this is not the place to stay. We were gifted an $80 dining credit for my wife's birthday so we tried the brunch at the restaurant which was pretty good. FRONT DESK - Check-in is electronic. I waited in the Guest Services line to see if they had any upgrades available and tried to tip the girl at the front desk but she told me all suites were booked for the weekend. She did throw in an $80 dining credit without taking my tip so that was nice. I was willing to pay for the upgrade if that's what the issue was but I believe a lot of the floors are under construction. We arrived on Friday and on Sunday morning, I was able to upgrade to a suite at a $50 charge. They told me to get my bags and come back down. When I came down with our bags, the front desk supervisor told me that my room needed to be cleaned and they put a rush on it. 2 hours later and the room was still not cleaned. When I asked if we can have our old room back in the meanwhile to shower and rest, I was told that wasn't possible. After questioning why we were told to leave our room only to be left without a room for hours, I was told that the casino did their best and that they did me a favor by letting me check in early on Friday (I had checked in 10 minutes early 2 days prior) and that he did everything he could. Turns out, supervisor had not checked us into a new room nor requested a rush cleaning and instead of owning up to that, he attempted to make us feel like we were at fault and unreasonable. They ended up giving us our old room back after 30 minutes of arguing and 2 hours later (don't ask why it took so long again), we were able to move into our new room. Way to do us a favor Steven! Wrote an e-mail to the Front Desk Manager during my second 2 hour wait and she had the manager on duty call us shortly after. They made things right and waived the day's room charge but from 9:30am - 2pm we dealt with this. Not exactly the memorable experience you would want. All in all, I would try to avoid staying at the Park MGM. If you absolutely want to stay in this location then stay at New York, New York.
