  • I hate to write a bad review as the people were so friendly and courteous, but I think my experience is relevant to anyone that may consider this dental office as a new patient. I got a groupon deal for $39 that included exam, x-ray's, and cleaning, what a deal! I got an appointment for both my husband and myself one right after the other so we could take turns watching our son. I went first, they walked me to the exam room and took x-rays. Then Dr. Rob came in to do my exam. He went over every tooth saying what tooth it is and his diagnosis for the assistant to write down. At first he recommended 4 fillings. I then asked him to show me where the cavities were on the x-rays and his reply was that you can't see them on the x-ray, but he would have an assistant come in and show me with a mirror. He also told me that I take great care of my teeth and he can tell I floss regularly (which I do). So after about 5 minutes the assistant comes in and hands me a mirror. I open my mouth and she pokes around trying to find what the the doctor was referring to. She points out a perfectly white healthy looking tooth and says its not smooth and that it needs to be filled. I could kinda see that filling that tooth might be beneficial to prevent tooth decay in the future, but the other supposed fillings I couldn't see anything at all, nor could she point out what was wrong! After that they take me to another room to get my teeth cleaned. The lady comments that I take really good care of my teeth and proceeds to do the quickest cleaning job I have ever had in my life. Everyone was nice and the whole "you have cavities" was dropped. After the cleaning they said I was done and I left to go take care of my son. Next my husband went in. They told him he also takes great care of his teeth and they couldn't point out any cavities on the x-rays, but they said all his previous filling needed to be redone and gave him a quote of $1600. He said the cleaning was quick also, but I think it was effective. The service was friendly, but I think that they offered the groupon to generate revenue. They aren't making any money on the groupon so in order to cover their expenses they need to find things wrong with your teeth. I guess I should have expected this. I will be driving back to my old dentist who is out of state next year for my annual. Finding a good dentist that you can trust is difficult.
