I usually check out Gamerama when I don't find a good deal at EB Games upstairs. I don't enjoy going into Gamerama though because I find the staff a little unfriendly. They don't always acknowledge the customers, and when they do help it's like they'd rather be doing something else. It seems more like a hangout for the owners and their friends.
I did ask for help a few times and they did offer decent advice on used accessories. I bought a used 360 controller for a good price. One annoying incident I had was when I brought my scratched disc in for repair. They told me they would call in a few hours when it was done, which they never did. I had to call them back to find out if it was finished. When I went in to pay, the cashier (who was busy talking to his friends) was charging me a higher price than I was initially told. He then accepted the lower price and quickly said, "Oh we just increased our prices for disc repair." It seemed like he was trying to make a quick buck by overcharging me at the last minute.
If you know what you're looking for, and you know how to compare used products, or how much games should cost, then you can find pretty good deals here.
If you're looking for advice and guidance, you will probably not enjoy your experience here.
