  • When your friend asks if you want to jump on indoor trampolines, you say yes, especially if there is a cheap Groupon involved. We like to get in touch with our inner child and try new things. Enter Xplozone. We showed up last Sunday without any reservations(I guess you can make them) around 11:30 in the morning and didn't have an issue getting in with the Groupon. The next "session" started a few minutes after we got there, so we stored our shoes(leave your purses in the car, ladies. There are only open cubbies) and got ready to have some fun. At least that was the plan. No outside socks allowed(they have rentals), so you get to be barefoot all over the areas other people have been barefoot. I'm no sock purist or anything, but I felt a little grimy. Whatever, let's do this! We walked up the ramp and the kid(I say kid because, well, to me he was a kid) explained the rules to us and let us know the "warning" signals(pointing and X with arms and X above head with arms) that come before getting kicked out. I don't know why this made me laugh, but it did. It was too serious. Then we were unleashed! We started with the trampoline squares and that was fun for a while. You can totally work up quite a sweat and get your heart pumping on those things. I definitely felt like a kid again. We walked around to the other areas, which if you're an adult there aren't too many other places. There is a designated kid only zone with a rock wall and small trampolines, then there is a pit of dirty foam blocks and some ninja warrior style rings, bars, nets, and swings to get across aforementioned dirty foam block pit. I tried out the rings and swings and I fell into a rather deep pit and I instantly wanted a shower. Don't let those foam blocks get near your face. There are kids and adults and feet all up in there. It wasn't like the foam looked fresh. It looked old and tired. Ew. After that we went back to the trampolines and jumped around for a bit more before my friend took a phone call and sat down on the trampoline for a minute to talk and was pointed at(first warning). I understand the whole need for safety but I felt like I was being watched the entire time and it felt a little annoying to be honest. Also it's hot AF in there. No blowing fans or AC. I probably won't return. It seemed dirty, not enough variation in obstacles, and the staff just stares you down while you're moving around the floor. Leave me alone and let me jump!
