I like the community, management, and my apartment. In the year and a half that I've lived here, it's all been positive. My only dissatisfaction is that they have non-smoking buildings which they charge an extra $35 a month for. In my strong opinion, I feel smokers should be the ones charged to live in a smoking building, as it costs management more money to turn an apartment that a previous smoker has lived in.
My neighbors constantly smoke, and I often can't open my windows because of it. It seems to me that management has it backwards by charging non-smokers for the choice of not being subjected to that disgusting habit. However, if they're going to provide non-smoking buildings as an option, it should be at the same rent as the other apartments so as not to penalize non-smokers. Would love to see them re-visit this.
