| - I'm a not a big fan of work clothes. Business casual feels like frumpy central on my figure, and my style tends more towards eclectic and dresses than to a sweater set and trousers. I've always been a huge fan of the power suit, but am not currently able to afford the Gucci version (or a custom made suit at all), and unfortunately my upper half makes buying fitted suits a little difficult.
I always feel like I'm toeing the line between inappropriate (re: too tight and/or cleavage) or frumpy (re: it fits the ladies alright but is unflattering and otherwise too big), with no decent medium in between. So thank god for RW and Co, which makes me feel like I'm not shopping for mom clothes or descending into Frump central.
Now, by no means does everything fit here. I still have issues with tops, but I find that RW and Co makes frumpy a little more stylish and palatable and has more of a selection for ladies who are busty. There is no being squeezed to death by tight cuts made solely for ladies who don't have much up top.
The mannequins are actually pretty good for drawing inspiration for fun but appropriate outfits. The pants are super comfortable and decently flattering. The casual clothes are cute (although not my style). The prices aren't bad.
But, ok, let me be honest here. There is a secret to why they have a lot of my work clothes business. Vanity sizing. I didn't think I would fall for it, but having to go down two full sizes from my normal ones is super flattering. I feel a little smug - like my nutritious eating (ha!) is finally paying off. Yeah right. Now, I imagine this is bad news for teeny tiny girls, but for people as vain as me this is great.
