I had a wonderful dining experience at The Barrymore. From the time I walked in I received a warm welcome from the hostess and and was shown to my table away. The dining room is small, quite and intimate. The part I liked most about the decor was the ceiling. The ceiling looks like old film reels. The one part of the decor that I did not like was, the statues of golden eagles. These statues seemed really out of place for this restaurant.
When we sat down the server came over right away to introduce himself. He was very nice and knew everything on the menu. He recommended some drinks to try since it was our first time there. The cocktail that I would recommend would be, The Barrymore. It was very good and the bartender puts a lot of liquor in it.
When it came time to order our meals there were a few good choices that caught my eye. We started off a Cesar salad that was delicious. I ordered the fillet and my date had the scallops. Both entrees were cooked perfect and were very delicious. We also ordered the lobster mac and cheese. It sounded better than it tasted, but was still a good choice.
