| - I love St. Vincent De Paul stores, generally. I find the prices to be fair and the staff to be friendly. Usually, SVDP has a dressing room or three, which puts it a head above the thrift stores where I have to try things on over my clothes in the aisles.
The Frankstown store seems smaller than most St. Vin's I've visited, with only a rack or two of any particular section. The selection is similarly unremarkable - I rarely find a shopping cart's worth of things to try on. This store is not especially clean, as many SVDP are a little grungy, but it could not be accurately described as "gross."
However, despite this disappointed, I'll give it three stars. I tended to find more items I actually bought in this store, especially proportionate to the size of the store. I am always disappointed in the shopping experience (there are very few OHMYGOD CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?? moments here), but usually tickled silly with the few items I take home. Some of my best quality, vintage dresses have come from this store, and I never paid more than a handful of change for any of them.
