So, I'm a new transplant to Pittsburgh and navigating the archaic beer laws is a pain in the (you know where). Honestly, I have to say that McBroom is a place I would shop at no matter what state it was located in. Their beer selection (especially hard-to-find craft beer) is better than most retailers. I own a kegerator and was looking for a place to stock up after my move here. Luckily, I went through Regent Square and decided to stop and inquire. I paid just a little more here than at a federal-owned liquor store on a military base I was previously stationed at. On top of that, they can get pretty much any keg in any size within a couple of days, to include limited craft beers. That is unreal. I expected to pay a lot more for a case because of the lack of competition in the city, but the prices were extremely reasonable. The manager was great and extremely helpful in working with me on my keg order. Even though I live several miles away, I will gladly come to Regent Square for all my beer needs. No question.
