  • in the last week-EditBryan Sipple the owner called me a "Pompous Asshole." Bryan also stated "If you F@$K with me I will F@$K with you!" This happened during an "interview" for a possible rental. Some of the questions regarding my service dog were borderline illegal if not actually illegal (To be determined) I explained to Nicole Hartmann I was reviewing the lease terms with my attorney beforehand. I also wanted to know if the questions they were asking about my service dog and background checks were legal. I felt scrutinized in regards to my service animal as well as background checks and questions. I was told to come to a meeting this morning to "Explain the circumstances and explain why I needed a service animal and 2 other items that came up" I have the entire email chain saved as well for future reference. The meeting was to take place at 8 a.m. I promptly arrived at 8 a.m. Nicole was in a meeting, Bryan came in about 5 minutes later to greet me. Every other word out of his mouth was the F word. I even had to ask Bryan if we continued this conversation if we could eliminate the cursing and be professional considering I was being professional and not cursing. That is when he told me I was a "Pompous Asshole." I was a bit shocked and said I did not appreciate the comment and maybe we are getting off on the wrong foot and that I came here with an opened mind. He than stated "You did not have an opened mind yesterday or the day before." The next thing that came out of his mouth was "Listen, I am an easy going guy until you F@$K with me, If you F@$K with me I will F@#K with you!" Bryan was obviously visibility upset about this interaction. I was than told due to the service dog he has a right to charge me for her and that I cannot tell him how to run his business. Bryan also stated "I can deny tenancy for something as little as a ticket." So, the decision was ultimately made to not rent me the property but to waste my morning driving in rush hour from downtown Madison to Waunakee for something that could of been said via email or phone. I am too busy to waste my time chasing answers and driving to "meetings" for something like this. I told Bryan that I am going to no longer continue this conversation and walked out of their building at 8:15 with a sick feeling that I let an OWNER of this company talk to a potential customer this way. If I ever told that to a customer of mine, I would be out of a job in a heartbeat. Does CCH make beautiful homes? Absolutely, do they handle themselves in a professional manner? Absolutely, not. You are paying a premium price for a BLUE COLLAR experience. If you are considering the rentals/building with CCH of Waunakee beware of the conduct stated in this review. If you are a tenant already renting in the new units beware of the lack of customer service and answers you will get from Nicole Hartmann and Bryan Sipple
