  • This salon seems to be getting more popular lately and I couldn't be happier for them. The cat is out of the bag - Isle of You is the bee's knees. After a "fancy" salon mishandled my appointment for a big wedding I thought I was totally out of luck. Then I found Isle of You and Shari saved the day. She booked me last minute and turned my thick brunette hair into beautiful waves of honey blonde curls. The entire wedding I kept getting compliments on my new hair. I've been going to Isle of You ever since and recommend them to all my friends/family. It's a friendly, hip, down-to-earth kind of place where you can drink a complimentary glass of wine or coffee and relax while you get your hair done. I can't really think of a downside other than they do sometimes run a bit late. But that happens when stylists give each client their full personal attention so I don't mind at all. They might not have some of the trappings of a high-end salon (marble counter tops, chandeliers, etc.) but when it comes to what really matters this place is ace. Truly a gem of a studio.
