| - 2 stars for giving us the chance when we moved from one state to here. I had been working with Mark over the phone for couple weeks trying to see if i could get approved. Then i didnt hear back so i called and talk to kelli in management. Kelli said she will approve us and we moved forward with everything else. We paid our money and the move began july 4th 2015. I went there july fifth and it was only one person working so she told me she couldnt do a walk through with me, that i was welcome to walk through on my own. Me and my brother did the walk through. From the pictures i saw online, it didnt look nothing like what i saw. Since i was coming from 24 hours away and a lease that was at the end it was no going back. No staying any place else until i got what i wanted. Mark had told me i had the biggest apartment and since it was remodeled it would be more money. He also had told me it was done even though it took a month to get everything done. I called the third and fourth week to check before i moved just to see how everything was going. I did this because i looked at reviews about people going to look at demo apartments and when it was time to move they got something different. So since i wasnt able to physically look at the place before making my decision. I wanted to have mark take pics. I never got the pics because they ended up taking the whole month to complete. So when i arrived in Arizona and viewed the place it was to late for me to change or ask for different apartment. I had no other place for me and my kids to go. Ok back to me doing the walk through with my brother. The apartment was way smaller than i thought, for them to say that i had the largest apartment. The apartment that Mark said was done, wasnt done. The slide door was hard to open, the lock on it wouldnt lock, the screen wasnt working correctly. Mark said the screen would be replaced, for me to put all the things on my walk through list so it could be done. The dishwasher wasnt installed correctly to the kitchen counter. I opened it and it fell forward. Not that i needed the dishwasher any way because i hand wash dishes. But that was unsafe for my kids if they opened that and it fell forward on them. The drawers had no tracks installed. Cabinets were old and they just painted over a whole bunch of dust dirt and bugs. So I had to wash them down very good, the doors on cabinet was new. But if you say remodeled apartment the whole thing should of been new. New frigerator, microwave, and stove. Dinning area closet doors didnt close properly so i put that on list of thongs to get fixed. Dryer had nasty gunk stuck in it so i put that on list. The cover that goes over the light in the ceiling was rolled over with a paintbrush. So the lighting was very dim in the laundry area. The hallway closet wasnt closing. The main bathroom plug was broken. Under the cabinet, the wood was buckled and looked moldy from previous water damage. The drawers had no tracks installed they were jusy sitting in the hole. When the shower was on water would leak from the shower head and wall onto the floor. The toilet would constantly run over from the top all over the floor to the hallway. The kids closet was not closing properly. Master bedroom closet light cover was painted over so it was very dim lighting. Everything was just painted over, not replaced or fixed, just painting on top of old paint. Doors and cabnets and drawers had hair and bugs stuck on some of it and you could see paint over it. They even painted shower with something cheap because every time you take shower the stuff was peeling off. Soon after they had to do new caulk in main bathroom. The master bathroom they should of put new caulk in but they didnt. It was all black on the slide doors on the inside. And they never recaulked it my whole stay. I put in maintenance orders after maintenance orders in for things to get done. They would come and do it and couple days later whatever they fixed was back like it was. They did temporary fixes all the time. My first couple months i seen couple roaches then no more. I experienced either lizards or something that was into my baby's clothing organizer and had white droppings and black stains under my new born baby's clothing. They called out bug guy but they wasnt sure what it was. After i had been here for a year all of a sudden my boyfriend was getting little bumps all over him and they were turning into welts. He was scratching like crazy and very itchy. No one else was experiencing this and it was my baby, my 5 year old, my 8 year old and me. Then couple weeks later i started to get itchy bits so i was going to go to doctors. And i called office to ask why i haven't seen any bug spray people out and could they come spray. They told me that you have to call to get your name put on a list to get your place sprayed. This was new to me because no one told me this. Were i came from, bug guy came out once or even twice a month to spray.
