  • Stopped at midas after several.failed attempts to have someone look at a burned out break light. Was trying to figure out if I had purchased a faulty brake light or if there was an electrical.issue. 2 other car reapair shops told.me they did not have time and I would have to make an appointment. 1 other shop wanted to charge me $50.for an electrical diagnosis. As soon as I pulled into parking lot on of the repair men stopped what he was doimg and came out to my car and asked how he could help. I explained that I had replaced the brake light earlier that day and it burned out again. He went back into shop.and came back with a few tools. He then took off the tailight assembly and proceeded to check all electrical connections. He even went as far as to take off the other tailight in order to see how that one was wired. Within a few minutes 2 other reapair men were out in parking lot helping him trace the electrical connections from under the hood. After about 15 minutes or so they had learned that the brake light was getting power and that the problem was either in the bulb or the contacts on the assembly. They took a bulb from reverse lights and put it in place of brake light and I was on my way with working brake lights. Just needed to stop.and get another bulb to replace the reverse light they had swapped out. When I tried to pay they would not accept any money and told me to have a nice day. They went above and beyond with no charge. Returned at a latter date for oil change and had just as good of an experience. Manager was very personable and helpful. Will return for future repairs and services as needed. Nice to see such great customer service in this day and age.
