I'd leave negative stars if possible, here's our letter to the owner for clarity:
Good morning Bret;
It has come to my attention that your landscaping service is beyond worthless.
My fiancee Sarah Hecox hired you based on a referral from a friend, who we are actively educating about your deplorable business practices. First, you sent a crew led by an individual who was beyond rude to Sarah (your client - the one paying for the service, the "customer" - please let me know if you need additional help making this connection, you obviously aren't making it yet). This guy not only talked back to her but spit by her feet on the ground in displeasure. Seriously? This is the quality of your people? Then you promised her on TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS (today being the third) that you would send a crew back to clean up the mess the first crew made including not completing the scope of work we agreed upon and paid for, trimming new growth off a clearly injured mimosa tree (do you even train your staff or just pull them off the street at home depot?) and grossly over-trimming the bushes in the front of our home into brutal and visually unappealing shapes (a monkey could do a better job, and would do so without expelling saliva like a child). Of course no one has ever shown up to clean up the mess as promised or offer to help with the damaged tree and we now see the lying waste of space that you are.
The good news for you is that you NEVER have to worry about this home and all of its horrible challenges like "trimming" and "blowing" again. DO NOT come today or any other day - we're beyond done with you and your lackluster excuse for a landscaping service. You lied to us twice (3 times including today's failure) and do some of the WORST landscaping work i've ever seen. The price would be great but because you actually did harm to our foliage you are costing us much more than the $40-something you charge to ruin yards. If you are anything close to a stand-up human being (which based on your reviews and our interpersonal experience is definitely NOT the case) you would refund us in full and pay for the arborist we have had to hire to treat the mimosa thanks to your ineptitude. Then again it might be more advantageous to reveal all the photos we took in court (I'm sure they'll look great online with our reviews and social media posts too). In the meantime DO NOT RETURN TO THIS HOME - EVER. We are done with you and your service, effective immediately.
