  • I am taking an on line Psyc course through Athabasca University and I must say I feel that they have gone above and beyond what I was expecting. I have emailed my tutor a number of times because I have had few questions with the course and the material she has always emailed me back in a timely manner and has answered my question in great detail. I am now on a unit with a lot of biology about the brain, neurons and all of that fun stuff. Biology does not appear to be my cup of tea and up until a few days ago I felt that some of the parts in the textbook were in Russian. In any event I emailed a list of questions I had to The Student Support Centre. Within 3 hours I received a phone call from my tutor explaining everything in great detail about all of the questions I had she even sent me a email a few minutes after just to make sure I understood the material. So far I have had a great experience with Athabasca University. I do not have any assignments to hand in however just have 8 unit quizzes and the final. So I feel I could not give at a full 5 stars because I am only taking the one class through them and because of this I feel my experience with this has been a little limited. I did want to write a review on them because I feel like they have been excellent with this course I am taking
