  • AGO is great! The new architecture with the huge drop down glass makes me feel like I am on a pirate ship. The displays are organized nicely. It would be nice to have a bit more signs for directions, but then I could see the signs may also ruin the whole artsy feel. My favorites of the AGO - Group of Seven Art Collections, the new area with the huge drop down windows on level two, sculptures, and the chair couch distributed across the gallery. The chairs looks like benches, but actually have leather exterior and a nice comfy cushion. (I uploaded a photo, it is a must sit) So yes, I would recommend AGO even with the hefty $18. It is worth a visit and show some support for the Canadian Arts.
