| - I have been a Pancake Cafe regular since I moved to Madison. They captured me with their great service and awesome crepes.
Sure, it's not a fancy restaurant, but it is warm and homey. We often have the same server and she is nice and attentive.
I originally ordered the spinach crepes, and realized it wasn't for me. They were happy to hook me up with the Blueberry Sour Creme Crepes, and OH HOT DAMN! I dream about those crepes. They are refreshing and delicious. The price is just right for how stuffed I was after eating just part of my crepe plate. They were so amazing, I couldn't stop eating- and I needed to be rolled home afterwards.
Their coffee is simple and a good compliment the the sweet breakfast foods I enjoy. I just tried the Cinnamon French Toast and would recommend anything that comes with the cream sauce, because that was delicious.
Things that didn't impress me- the cinnamon roll is lack luster, and the sausage links aren't the greasy, spicy breakfast sausage that I like to indulge in.
Overall, good place, good food, large portions. Try it out.
