  • I just know if we come here, I can't leave without taking home an adorable doggie. We've adopted from here twice. We adopted Doobie (a dachshund and Jack Russell mix) 3 years ago and we just adopted Toby (a Jack russel) a month ago during the $15 adoptions. Both times we had great experiences. They make it an easy and painless process. It feels good to know you are giving an abandoned animal a warm and loving home. Of course sometimes the adjust can be difficult, but it is always worth it the end. My only complaint would be that during the $15 adoption weekend, while waiting to check out (which the line was a good hour) we had to wait in the tent adjoing the cats and the smell was horrific. It gave u both headaches and my mom, who was adopting toby's sister, wasn't able to wait in there due to being seriously allergic to cats. I think we've reached our max on animals, but if we do decide on another we will adopt again.
