Just wanted everyone to know... I didn't even want to give this 1 star.
A Savory Affair catering company. I would NOT use them! After numerous phone calls and voicemails and emails I had to call my venue to get them to have Tim return my calls. When he did call he talked a mile a minute and I could barely understand him. Finally set up a tasting, he told me he didn't do a bunch of food, its just one dish he creates to showcase his talents. You dont get to choose. food was good but the herbed chicken breast was WAY over seasoned, way too much herb. I created my whole menu, he threw in extras I was happy and finally at ease, I was excited! He said he'd have the final menu emailed to us within a few days. After almost 2 weeks and my Mum emailing him with no response. We received an email from our venue on Friday July 31st saying A Savory Affair canceled our wedding (10-24-15) due to personal matters and we would have to use their other vendor Put A Fork In It. I guess we were the 9th couple he canceled on. He never called/emailed us or my Mum to let us know. I understand things come up that are out of our control but He just ignored us, terrible customer service. I got the vibe that he didn't care about his company or his customers.... I'm Extremely disappointed. From that experience I will never use them or recommend them. He seemed more preoccupied with his "school work" that was sitting all over one of the tables when we arrived, than being the owner of a catering company. I was excited to work with him but because of his lack of professionalism this company is now on my black list. Put A Fork In It has been quick to respond emails and phone calls, extremely nice and I'm excited to meet with them, I have my tasting today, so we'll see!
