When we returned our car, the gal that checked us in pressed the wrong button on her hand held computer which finalized our transaction. We were subsequently charged $1,400 instead of $997. I called Hertz when we received the credit card charge and it was easy for the agent to see the overcharge and credit us. It was difficult to reverse the service charges/taxes and international transaction fee on my credit card. In fact two months have gone by, several phone calls and it is still not taken care of. The representatives that answer the phone are not empowered to make decisions and I was just told that the management has gone home and there is no one for me to speak with. This is very disappointing service and my customer experience is in the dumps.
