  • I've been to Kazimierz several times, and am finally writing a review. I'm not big on Scottsdale, so I always forget that its there, which is a shame, because it's such a great place! I went on Sunday night to have a drink with a friend. We were met at the door by a nice gentleman who told us that there's a $5 cover charge, which helps to pay the band's fee for the evening, and that we could add the cover charge to our bill if we would like! Love that! How many times have you gone somewhere with a cover and you don't have cash on you? So I love that they make it convenient for you by just adding it to your bill. Live music spots are few and far between in the Phoenix area, so the fact that they have a trio playing on a Sunday night is a huge plus! The wine list is extensive, and you're sure to find a fabulous wine to enjoy for the evening! Also, the ambiance is great because it's so dark and romantic in there! I also love that it's not sitting on a corner in Scottsdale with a big sign for all to see! If you don't know where this place is already, it can be difficult to find. Just an unmarked wood door behind Cowboy Ciao. Lastly, the bartenders are great and very personable! Unlike the typical Scottsdale hangout, this place is completely unpretentious and usually has a good mix of people, from young to old and black to white! I need to make it a point to start visiting this place more often! :)
