  • I really lucked out finding Pampered Laser Hair Removal. I had never had any experience with hair removal at all, and after making a few cold calls to a some places, I became aware that customer service (as well as prices) vary greatly. Then I found Deidra Johnson. She is Pampered Laser Hair Removal. On the phone, Deidra was immediately a cut above the rest. She was completely open, honest, friendly, and extremely professional. She was the ONLY ONE to talk to me at all about the discomfort. She was absolutely right that it feels like a mild rubber band snap against the skin. On a scale of 1-10, I'd say it's about a 4, maybe 5 at the worst (mustache area), with the vast majority of zaps a 2 or 3, or even a zero. Very do-able. She uses the Candela GentleLASE laser and after hearing some of the horror stories with other systems (like PIL, which isn't even a laser!), I would never let anyone use anything but the Candela on me! She was also the only one to tell me how to best prepare for a treatment (shaving/no lotion/etc.). After several sessions, I now have to say that I think of an appointment with Deidra as more like seeing a friend. She's always sweet, friendly, and working with her is a genuine pleasure. Deidra's also an RN and you can really tell by her caring manner before, during, and after the appointment. And if all that wasn't enough, here's the punchline- her rates are AMAZING. Sure, you can dig up a Groupon special that might be lower, but you won't get anywhere near the service or attention that you'll receive with Deidra. Laser Hair Removal is a relationship service. You'll need a several treatments for it to work. If you want to sign on with some discount place where you take your chances over many weeks of appointments because you wanted to save a buck or two, that's your choice. I value personal service, a great product, great results, trustworthiness, AND a good value. The sort of thing you tend to only get with sole proprietorships. You get all that and more with Deidra and Pampered Laser Hair Removal.
