I specifically went to this Tire Works location because it was close. I made a big mistake.
I asked the manager, Jessey to replace my battery. I explained to him that the car had stopped the night before and I had to call a family member to give me a jump to get the car started. I explained to him that I was not in a rush and I wanted him to check the car out to make sure that I needed a new battery.
My daughter stayed in the car, turning the car on and off as requested by Jessey. About 25 minutes later, this manager comes inside the store and tells me that there is nothing wrong with the battery. The battery was charging at 75 percent. I asked him if he had checked for everything that would have caused the car to not function the night before and he responded yes. I told him that I didn't want to get stuck somewhere with a dead battery. Well, my daughter and I left and drove to Galleria mall. We were inside the mall 15 minutes and when we came out, the car wouldn't start. I called Jessey to let him know. He said I could wait for an hour for a tow truck. I chose not to. The next day, I went to Tire Works on Green Valley Parkway and Curtis replaced the battery. Jessey should not be a manager if he can't problem solve simple mechanical problems.
