| - I have always enjoyed and appreciated chiropractic care. I stopped going to my old Chiropractor for several years because I felt great! Once I got pregnant w/Baby no. 3 and had been working for 6 yrs SITTING (behind a computer) for 8+ hrs a day, my health in general felt like it was going back to its old ways. Unfortunately, I waited until I was in excruciating pain to get it taken care of. My "baby" was already one by then. Out of desperate need, I walked into Dr. Carlson's (old) office just because it was in the building next to my job so it was convenient. She turned out to be a HIDDEN GEM!!! I delivered my children naturally without pain meds nor an epidural. My last child was 10 lbs!!! But this lower back pain was worse than Labor. I was literally crying because I couldn't sleep from the pain. I couldn't move once I laid down.
After three back to back adjustments the first week, my pain was gone. After 2 wks, I no longer had any discomfort. She gradually teaches you ways to make changes with your health. From sleep quality, headaches, to even getting my job to set up my workstation correctly with support on my back, keyboard aligned to my height, etc. No topic is off limits.
Brooke is the best! She set everything up with so much ease that she worked around my needs and my schedule. They helped me get on a treatment plan that worked for me. I didn't have Insurance and they set up a very comfortable payment plan to go along w/my treatment. A few months in, my kids started getting adjusted too. Dr. Carlson is amazing with kids. She gives them her undivided attention when she sees them. I've seen it with her other patients' kids too. My oldest has Autism and is afraid of Doctors. I'll never forget his first adjustment. He was in tears and she sat on the floor w/him reaching out to him about how she wanted to help him. Now, almost 3 yrs later and he is the most anxious to see her. Dr. Carlson is still very calm w/him and goes w/the flow depending on how he's doing. Anyway, it wasn't long before my husband decided that he wanted to maximize his MMA training and get regular adjustments too. They have worked around my WHOLE family.
What surprised me the most about Dr. Carlson? Her ACCURACY and her strength! She's straight to the point, communicates well and takes care of YOU.
I recommend her to EVERYONE... young and old, expecting mothers, newborns and ESPECIALLY when you're feeling sick or under the weather.
