  • My friend suggested Tailwinds as they had a good experience with their dogs several years ago. I went out ahead of time and got the tour and met the staff. I felt my 3 small dogs would get along with other dogs during playtime, however I wasn't sure. They assured me, they would do a temperament assessment (one time fee) and, if for some reason, they didn't pass, they would still get playtime on their own. I brought them in and called the next day to see how they were doing. They had up to date info on their progress, they were fine with playtime with other dogs. When I picked them up, it was obvious they got lots of love and pets from the staff. I would not hesitate to board my dogs here again when I travel. In addition, because they were there 5 nights, they got a complementary bath before leaving, which saved me $$ for a bath at their groomers.
