| - Overall experience was good. However, problem occurred when I was paying. I went into the nail salon wanting to get a French Manicure, which showed that it costed $23. When I went to the cashier to pay, I was told the total was $45 (almost double of what I thought it would be). It turns out that they did Shellac on me without asking for my consent. I told them that I was not informed of this switch and since it was my birthday, I let it go. This staff (who welcomed me when I first arrived) began interrupting me, saying that she asked me if I wanted to do Shellac or Regular, and claimed that I said Shellac. When I entered she asked what I wanted, and I simply said a French Manicure. She did not specifically ask if I wanted Shellac or Regular. Even if she did ask me I would definitely go with Regular polish, because I do not think a French Manicure would require Shellac since Shellac is used for long lasting purposes, which a French Manicure does not require, in my opinion at least. Thus I would definitely have said Regular if I were even asked such a question in the first place and possibly ask for the price difference. I say "It's fine" and was about to proceed to payment, when the same staff interrupts me again, insisting I asked for Shellac. This got me quite angry because firstly the question was never asked before or during my manicure treatment, and secondly she kept insisting a statement I never said even though I wanted to let the conflict go and proceed to payment. It wasn't even like I demanded they change the price, I did not stir up any trouble. All I wanted was everything to go smoothly and not get angry or frustrated because it was my birthday. The other staff were really nice. It was just that one who was was rude, imposed claims and tried to argue with me. I will NEVER go back to this nail salon again because of her.
