  • What to say, what to say... this was a fairly average Golden Corral experience but something that I can't quite put my finger on seemed "off". We like Golden Corral and have been to several across the country, but for some reason this visit just didn't seem "up" in any way. The food was reasonably fresh by GC standards. The service was flat, minimally attentive, and mechanical - perhaps attributing to the overall feel of the place. The "premium" butterfly shrimp was definitely the best of the shrimp feature. As usual, the steak was very good but getting it at your cooking preference could be a challenge unlike at other locations. Again, a service thing.
