  • I love me some Ncounter. I have been a fan of the Tempe location since Jan 2017. The fam was heading out for some errands in downtown phoenix and we wanted to treat ourselves to breakfast yesterday morning. I was worried that us getting there at 9am we'd be waiting forever, like we would be at the Tempe location, but we lucked out. Close parking is pretty nil as there is only the garage right there with limited spaces. Be sure to get your parking pass validated, unless you wanna pay $2 for that first hour. (still kicking myself on that one. I had the ticket with me and didn't get it validated. derp) Once you park, go back through where the garage gates are or else you'll be looped out onto Roosevelt. We head inside and order. I get my standard (cause I'm a creature of habit. I know what I want and like) - The Farmers Market Benedict. J - his standard - Red Velvet Waffles C - Kids French Toast. C scarfed down his French toast and said, "Mommy this is yummy!" J of course loved his RV Waffles. My benedict kinda fell short. The potatoes as always were tasty though! But the eggs were just short of hard cooked. The manager made it right though, offering to have my food remade. I just kindly asked if I could have 2 poached eggs. The replacement eggs were perfect. I doubt we'll be back to this location though. Not because of the food, but because of the patrons that bring in their pets (that are NOT service animals) inside the restaurant and the staff (the cashier in this instance) not doing anything about it while the customers were at the counter with their dog wiggling around in their arms. Extremely unsanitary. Standard rule of thumb for service dogs = 4 on the floor (unless they're performing a specific task) Granted, I know it is a patio friendly establishment for dogs, but one person can stay with the dog outside on the patio (and there is an gate from the sidewalk granting access to the patio), while the other person goes inside and orders. Don't be THAT pet owner. And the cashier should have told them to take their pet outside. But she did nothing, except gush over the dog. :/ If I could give a 1/2 star, I would give a 3.5 for this location.
