I believe I am done with Dolce after being a loyal customer for 3 years. My last three experiences: progressively worse! The appointment setter answered the phone giggling and wasn't able to focus on my request for two separate appointments. She ended up booking an appointment for "Lisa" (my name is Kathy, and the stylist I wanted was Lisa) so when I arrived I did not have an appointment. Next visit (pedicure) they sat me in a chair and I asked for an assist getting the massage function going. "Oh, I guess this one doesn't work". End of conversation. I finally asked as politely as possible if we could move to a different chair (they were all empty) since the massage is an important feature of the experience for me.
Yesterday may have been the nail in the coffin: I purchased a groupon for cut and highlights as a birthday gift for my granddaughter. When I checked out they told me I owed money. I disagreed. They had already scanned my groupon. Close investigation showed I had purchased a groupon for a different salon! I honestly believed the groupon was for Dolce, so my bad. I talked with Nicole who had no authority to resolve the issue so I asked if she could speak with her manager and call me at home to settle up. I expected they would share the burden since they did scan the groupon in error. Later that night I get a phone message from "Katy" threatening to call the authorities if I didn't pay up by 9:00 pm! I called back and received a rude and begrudging issue to hold off calling the law for another day. The issue remains unresolved this morning since Groupon doesn't have phone hours over the weekend. If I don't update this review it is because I'm in jail for non-payment of my Dolce bill...
