  • Pros: Free birthday massage offer (30 Min) with an upgrade to 1hr for $25. Good decor, very peaceful atmosphere. The technicians I met were really friendly. The front desk girl seemed new and a little incompetent, but maybe because she was still learning. Mani-Pedi area is nice and clean and they use sterile instruments and a new file and buffer for each person (that you can take home if you want). Cons: the massage was mediocre at best. The pressure was way too light although she was quiet and the room was very peaceful (I note that there was some sound of traffic driving by, but on a Sunday afternoon this was not much) I also opted for a deluxe mani-pedi (with paraffin treatment) and for the price I paid it was again mediocre. The colour selection was minimal, about 35-40 colours. (Most nail salons I go to have way more than that). The pedicure itself was fine. Massage again was barely felt. Just way too gentle, and generally I find most massages to be too hard and have to ask for them to go lighter. The parrafin treatment was good. She really let it sit and absorb which was nice. The manicure was once again OK. Im pretty sure she forgot topcoat and I only realized after I had left. Also, day 2 and one of the nails is already chipping off and the colour has lost its shine (probably from the lack of topcoat). Definitely not worth the $40 i paid for it! Sigh. Overall if you get a free massage I guess it is worth it. But I would definitely not pay full price for either a massage or mani-pedi here ever again.
