  • There was a listing on Yelp, but it was a bit confusing and the name was wrong. Anyways, I thought I'd reviewed this place, but I guess I didn't. I was referred here by Arizona Spine Care to get a lower lumbar spine MRI done. After a so-so experience with another MRI/CT scanning facility in which I got the wrong kind of scan, this was a really pleasant experience. I had a 5pm appointment and thought it was nice to have it at this time so I didn't have to miss any work. I got there and the receptionist (I'm forgetting her name) was really friendly. I was a little nervous, but she was very nice and we had a conversation about owls (of all things, haha). The waiting room was nice and clean and had big comfy couches to sit in and read magazines. I was taken back and given a pair of scrub pants since I'd accidently worn metal on my pants. The woman helping me was also very friendly. She gave me a selection of DVDs to watch while I was getting my scan done. I chose F.R.I.E.N.D.S on DVD, but she had several other shows as well. The only thing I didn't like was having to sit straight up for close to 30 minutes because it hurt my back to do so. Because of this (and its really my fault for moving slightly to get comfortable) my scans came out a little blurry with very few being really clear. After she was done with me, I went to change clothes and wait in the waiting room once again. A guy came in with his daughter and couldn't stop walking around because of his own back problems for which he'd had surgery. He was a friendly man and the office assistant didn't seem to mind him being kind of loud while talking to me. Another couple, an older married one, walked in and then sat down. It was the husband who was getting scans done and like me, it was his first time there. They were very friendly and the receptionist waited until we were clearly done talking about the surgery he too had on his back before she called my name to pick up my scans. This was a really good experience and if I didn't mind so much being around MRI machines all the time, I'd hope I'd get the chance to return. But, that'd mean I have a problem and I don't want anymore health problems! Haha.
