  • If you live in the South Hills and haven't been here, I will need an explanation. The Heenans (who are wonderful!) have been running the ice cream and cake/candy shop since it first opened in Brentwood over 30 years ago, and it has only gotten better. It doesn't matter what you get--but I recommend a chocolate covered banana cone--as everything is homemade and awesome. Make sure you peak inside at their old fashioned soda counter with tons of old Coca-Cola memorabilia and nostalgic candy. There is also a candy & cake supply shop with tons of molds, ingredients, other fun stuff for your feelin' crafty in the kitchen stash.
