Second time this week. I accidentally came upon this location because the original destination, Donut Mania, was sold out. There's something magical about this place. First, the recipes for the doughnuts are superior. There's a certain texture that reminds me of southern cooking. Second is that they donate the extras to a local church. I'm not a pious man, but I despise throwing away food in general. Especially when so many are hungry. I think good feelings emanate from here. The customer in front of me paid it forward and bought my doughnuts and coffee with no reason. I think it's just because I held the door open for his wife entering. Very moved by that kind of stuff.
Lastly, Kristen and Niko were very helpful and liked to chit chat. I hope the best for this small LV business. They get that it's easy to make a transaction, but inspiring if you make an experience.
Btw, hit up the Girl Scout Samoa. Thanks me later.
