| - **COPYING AND PASTING MY REVIEW FOR ALLEGIANT HAWAII; ADDING DETAILS OF THE RUDE FLIGHT ATTENDANT FROM VEGAS TO HAWAII.**
As I was boarding, my S/O asked a flight attendant (Who we'll refer to by her first initial, "R") where our seat was. She responded with "all seat are labelled" and waved us away, not even pointing us in the direction. As I was sitting, I noticed she did that with everyone, and she was very cold about it. Before taking off the flight attendants were explaining safety measures and someone sitting in the same row of the exit seats was asleep. The flight attendants then went over the responsibilities of the people sitting in the exit row. R then proceeded to slap her hand against the wall of the plane until she woke the sleeping passenger up. Then when he gave her a "stink" face, she lectured him like a teacher and said "If you don't want to cooperate, I can gladly move you to another seat." Ridiculous.
The reason why my rating isn't one star: I personally had no problems with Allegiant Airline. I pre-paid for my luggage online, I made sure my carry ons & personal items were within height and weight restrictions, and I printed my boarding pass at home.
Security screening was the same as everywhere else.. Shoes and jackets off, laptops in a separate bin. Easy peasy.
The plane ride itself was fine with me, however I'm 4'11 so the seats were definitely more comfortable for me versus average height or tall people. They do serve beverages and snacks for $3-$12, so I don't know why people are saying that they don't serve food at all. I ordered their $5 deli snack pack which comes with pretzels, beef jerky, smoked gouda cheese, a chocolate biscotti stick, and a mentos mint. Bring an empty water bottle with you and fill it up after security screening. Lavatories are small but tidy; 1 up front, 3 in the middle.
Phones have to be off during departure and landing, but they will tell you when you can turn them on airplane mode (about 15 minutes in). I brought my laptop because I previously downloaded movies to watch offline.
The reason why my rating isn't higher: I do like the fact that I saved money, even after purchasing two checked bags, I saved over $400 on my flight going back home to Vegas. HOWEVER, I dislike having to worry about whether my flight will be delayed. Thankfully both of my flights with Allegiant were pretty much on time; the flight to Hawaii was only 10 minutes behind.
Would I fly with them again? Yes, as long as I don't have to worry about being back home by a specific day.
