  • The review should be 3.5 stars. I have actually had fairly pleasant experiences at Mint in comparison to the other posters. The receptionists have always been courteous when I've arrived and when I've departed. I purchased a deal online and started with getting my full legs done. I eventually purchased another deal with them to get my full arms done as well. The establishment is clean and looks professional. I book my appointments out 6 weeks in advance to ensure I can get as much service for the 1 year package. On occasion when I've had to cancel or rebook, they have actually been able to schedule me a new time within a week of my canceled session. The progress: I've had some pretty great results in my legs. My arms seem to be coming along as well, although I started them later. However I feel that the effectiveness of each treatment really depends on the person administering the laser and how thorough they are. Some training could go a long way. If clients can't see the same person, they should at least feel like they are getting the same thorough treatment each time the come in. The technicians: I've seen about 5 technicians. 1 was extremely thorough in her treatment and I had the best results after seeing her, however she works at the bloor street location and had come in to cover for someone. The others the were not as thorough to varying degrees, but were always kind and professional. The first session I ever had was by a new technician who seemed like she did not have any training on this particular equipment and was flying by the seat of her pants. As such, The settings were too low and I didn't see much of a result from my session with her. I'm in the same boat as others with the fact that I do not like being unable to see the same technician, or not even being able to book with the same person. However, I've been lucky enough to see the same person on 80% of my visits. The rooms could be warmer, especially when doing larger body areas. They provide towels to cover up if necessary but those are barely hand towels Overall, I've had a pretty good experience. Some tweaks to their service - is. Training, warmer rooms, booking with a particular technician could go a long way with clients.
