rev:text	A temporarily displaced Hurricane Irma evacuee, I researched a few BBQ spots to checkout while in town. During my 1st visit to this location, I arrived at 9:30pm (restaurant closes @ 10pm) & ordered a full rack of ribs, sweet potato casserole, & bbq baked beans. Interestingly, there was no other customer in the restaurant at the time. Everything was top notch, including the available bbq sauces. A few days later, I returned & brought my mom since it was so good during that 1st visit. I arrived at 9:25pm and both doors were locked. There were several staff members walking around inside who appeared to notice me outside. However, no one made any effort to unlock the door and speak with me. I decided to call the restaurant while outside. The person picking up the phone probably knew it was me as he immediately mentioned the restaurant usually closes at 10pm, but closed earlier because it was "not busy". Since it was getting later (closer to 10pm), I was getting worried about finding a suitable replacement bbq restaurant in time. Consequently, I asked him if any comparable bbq restaurants existed in the near area, and the gist of his response was no. I ended up going to a sub-par bbq restaurant & was obviously not happy with the way things turned out. I blame this Sticky Fingers location for ruining what should have been a well-planned evening whereby I'd take my mom out to enjoy a very good bbq meal, something that is hard to come by where I'm from. No idea how a corporate- or franchisee-owned location could be allowed to make up their own hours on a whim. This also might explain why no more customers bother to show up. Why go to a restaurant that does not honor its own posted operating hours?
