Do not recommend; coverage only applies on a very limited basis; horrible customer service; complete waste of money.
I had an issue with my electrical panel - lights were flickering and it was considered an emergency. I contacted HSA, where I waited on hold for at least an HOUR each time I called (no exaggeration), and I was told only an authorized technician could repair the damaged electrical panel in order for it to be covered under our warranty. This was on a Friday and I couldn't wait for an inspection until Monday (and then replacement Tuesday or Wednesday) due to the hazard this posed. My spouse and I both work so we weren't going to leave a key for a stranger (their authorized repair contractor) to come over that Friday afternoon. They refused to allow me to have my licensed local electrician who I had worked with previously complete the repair. The CSR's were very unaccommodating and even laughed at my desperation when I tried to pose several alternate solutions. In the end, I paid $600 to my local electrician to come over that day to install a new panel and HSA refused to reimburse me, even though it was an emergency situation. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.
