  • When I have no choice but to be in Phoenix, this is where I prefer to stay. Like all Kimptons, the Palomar Phoenix oozes charm, sophistication, but is still comfortable and chill. The staff is top notch, the location is decent (again, when it comes to Phoenix). The rooms are so beautiful. They're the kind that you wouldn't mind hanging out in all day. Spacious (even the doubles) with large, well-designed bathrooms, a beautiful (and huge) couch. Excellent desk area and those super comfy Kimpton beds. And like all Kimptons, the rooms are kept spotless. The on-property restaurant Blue Hound is impressive. Great cocktails, excellent food, and killer atmosphere. Wouldn't mind eating here for every meal during my stay. The pool is a little disappointing mostly because there is very little sun. Perhaps this was done intentionally, but it's not helpful for those wanting to get some sun.
