  • Wow!! What's with all the nay-saying and hate for the Sirens? What were you we're expecting? Thespians performing Shakespeare? Fer chrissakes this is Vegas !!! Not the Globe theatre! Besides where else in Vegas would you get to see siliconed babes dance & sing for free? I can't speak about cancellations as I was able to catch the show twice in it's entirety on my walks up and down the strip, and I was not dissappointed. Here's what's so great about Sirens; 1) Saucy Pirate Tarts and Swarthy Pirate Lads in various degrees of deshabillee 2) Mock explosions and second hand special effects 3) Maladroit choreography and farcical script ... my personal favorite line being, "Bring your salty seamen into my cove" All this boorish extravaganza and it's free = Totally Awesome!!! The best part for me was seeing a mother with her two kids in front of me covering her kids ears(???) as the Siren's spewed their sexually suggestive one liners...as if the barely dressed stripper-esque performers did not tip her off that this was NOT a family friendly show! No walk down the main strip is complete without the kitcshy charms of the Siren's show, no it's not high theatre but again this is Vegas so might as well revel in the dregs and chintz.
